Supported Employment

Brite Pak provides employees with the opportunity to develop work skills and social skills within an integrated and supportive team environment.


Within its packaging, manufacturing and warehousing sections, employees are able to participate in simple, one-step tasks through to multi-step assembly, high volume processes.


As part of its commitment to transitional training and employment, Brite Pak encourages its employees to experience a variety of training opportunities and vocational tasks. These experiences are aimed at assisting each individual with determining their future employment goals.


Traineeships are available for eligible new employees.


Brite Plants provides employees with the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills which will assist those wishing to make the transition to open employment.

bplants1.jpgBrite Plants provides practical training in all aspects of nursery and plant production, working with plants, shrubs, trees and potted plants.


Training includes propagation by seeds, cuttings, layering and division. Maintenance of plants includes watering, re-potting and application of fertilizers, staking and labeling, staging and weeding, pests and disease identification and Health and Safety issues in a nursery environment.
