Brite Herbs is a social enterprise that provides vocational training within a fully functioning herb farm. It was partially funded under the Commonwealth Government Local Solutions Fund with the aim of providing practical horticultural training to people from vocationally disadvantaged backgrounds currently undertaking accredited and non-accredited training.
The Herb farm also provides practical experience in composting, herb nutrition, irrigation, weed management and sustainability to many supported individuals with a disability.
Brite Herbs has the capability of supplying commercial quantities of:
- dried herbs
- freshly cut bunched herbs (inc Rosemary, Oregano, Mint, Thyme, Chives, Sage)
- heirloom vegetables (i.e. tomatoes, carrots)
- herb and vegetable punnets / 10cm pots
